Welcome to Caterpillars! Much like our class name we spend the year growing, learning and developing throughout Reception. We can’t wait for the exciting year ahead! We are so excited to make lifelong memories and share your Early Years learning journey with you here at Churchfield! Mrs Thompson, Miss Jeffries and Mrs Whyte

PE day is Monday

Children should come to school in their PE Kits.

• White Polo/ T-shirt.
• Black Joggers/ short/ leggings.
• School jumper or cardigan.
• Velcro trainers.

Tuesday is our forest day.

Children should come to school in appropriate clothing they don’t mind getting dirty. They may leave a pair of wellies at school.

We would love it if you could read with your child 3 x a week and make a note of it in their reading diary. Children who read at home are entered into the schools rainbow reading challenge to win certificates!

Don't forget water bottles every day and spare clothes in a bag which can stay at school - make sure everything is labelled.

We organise termly workshops for parents as well as opportunities to visit the classroom and see your child in action!
