Eco-Council
We are working as a school to become more environmentally friendly. To help with our goal we have created a school Eco Committe. These pupils, from Years 1-6, meet each month to discuss eco friendly and environmental issues within our school.
The Eco Committee ensures each class has a platform to voice their opinions on environmental issues within our school. Our Eco Committee discuss and raise issues relating to the environment and how we can better ourselves as a school.
In September we started the year by completing an Environmental Review of the different topics: Biodiversity, Marine, Energy, Litter, Water, Healthy Living, School Grounds, Global Citizenship, Transport and Waste. This environmental review can be viewed on our Eco-Board. We then decide which topics we want to work on this year. This year we chose Energy, Healthy Living and Biodiversity.

We have already worked on our energy usage, in our first term using 1000 less units of electricity, in part this is thanks to the 'No Electric Day' the committee arranged.
